Common questions
Before you write
How does a block actually move?
Tap it, and it travels in the direction of its arrow, continuing in a straight line until it leaves the edge of the board. It never turns, and it never stops halfway on its own — but another block in its path can stop it. That's why the order you choose matters.
I'm stuck. Is every board solvable?
Every published board has at least one solution from its starting state. You can, however, reach a dead end mid-puzzle by clearing in the wrong order. If that happens, restart the board — there's no timer and no penalty.
Is there a time limit or a score to protect?
No. Teoiko Hex is deliberately unhurried: no countdown, no lives, no streaks. Take as long as you like to plan the sequence.
My progress disappeared. Can you restore it?
Unfortunately not. Progress is stored only on your device and we hold no copy on any server. It is lost if you uninstall, clear app data, factory reset, or switch to a new device. Write in anyway if it vanished without you doing any of those — that would be a bug worth fixing.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. Boards and movement are computed on your device, so the game runs in flight mode with no connection at all.
What should I include in a bug report?
- the level or board number;
- your device model and OS version;
- the game version from the settings screen;
- what you tapped, what happened, and what you expected instead.
Can I suggest a puzzle or a feature?
Please do. Board ideas, accessibility requests and difficulty feedback all go to the same address and all get read.
